    This week’s guest is Dr. Ayodele Nzinga. Her and Hannah discuss the images that haunt Dr. Nzinga artistically, the way faith influences her writing, and how artists need to better communicate their importance to the health of society.

    Oakland based and known as WordSlanger online, Dr. Nzinga is an actor, producer, director, playwright, poet, dramaturg, performance consultant, educator, and community advocate. She is the founding producing-director of the Lower Bottom Playaz, Inc.––Oakland’s oldest North American Theater Company––and is also the founding director of the Black Arts Movement Business District Community Development Corporation.
